Kelly Hyman is a successful Attorney currently living in Denver, Colorado. She has helped to change the lives of many clients and has worked all over the country in various settings to give back to her community in any way that she can. After training and working as an actress for 25 years in New York and California, Kelly Hyman decided to take the skills she gained from the stage and use them in a new direction as a lawyer. Knowing exactly how she wanted to pivot her career, Kelly began working diligently towards her new dream and graduated from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, with her Juris Doctor degree cum laude. In addition, Kelly also gained a B.A. in Communications from The University of California, Los Angeles as part of her previous studies.
Kelly Hyman really cherishes the ability to bring change to her client’s lives. Kelly prides herself in cultivating strong client relationships and aiding her clients in rebuilding their lives. While she has extensive experience working in mass torts, Kelly has also handled claims for hundreds of individuals dealing with issues ranging from problems related to tobacco products all the way to Bladder Slings. She also spearheaded work behind a mass tort relating to Transvaginal Mesh products. Some of these claims have revolved around products produced by extremely well-known entities like Johnson & Johnson and Boston Scientific.
In addition to her work as an Attorney, Kelly regularly participates in several groups to serve her industry and her community. From 2017- 2018, Kelly Hyman served as President of the Federal Bar, Palm Beach Chapter. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Trial Lawyer Association. Kelly Hyman is the membership Chair of the Federal Bar’s Colorado Chapter, as well a member of Sag- Aftra. She participates in the Women’s Caucus Lobby Day in D.C., a bi-annual wonderful tradition that encourages women to participate within the law industry and in our political system. Kelly Hyman is also a member of The Florida Bar, The Colorado Bar, and The D.C. Bar as well. She proudly graduated from the American Association for Justice’s leadership academy, and continues to serve as a member of the AAJ.
Kelly Hyman is an incredibly dedicated attorney not only to her clients but to her craft in the courtroom as well. She has been involved with several seminars and lectures showcasing her views on mindfulness within the practice of law, as well as drug and medical device litigation. In addition to these seminars, Kelly has even introduced an Improv for Attorneys course that pinpoints the importance of presence, body language, and the ability to think and act quickly. Kelly has had the honor of speaking at the 2018 AAJ convention about mindfulness, a topic that she feels is incredibly important as a working attorney. She stepped into the online teaching world and also taught an online course at FIU on Leadership. Kelly Hyman strived to show her students that with the right skills and training, they could become effective leaders who are able to take on any challenges they face within any industry or circumstance.
